About
Currently
Hi! My name is Anna Marie (she/her) and I am a PhD Research Fellow at the University of Bergen in Norway. I am a feminist researcher studying ceasefires and gender.
I am also a non-residential Civil War Paths Fellow with the Civil War Paths Project.
My academic interests outside of my PhD research span feminist activism during conflict, conflict trends, and women’s participation in peacebuilding activities.
I’m always happy to connect, so reach out if you’d like to chat.
Previously
Before joining the University of Bergen, I worked as a research assistant at the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO) and Uppsala University’s Department of Peace and Conflict Research.
I worked as a research consultant with the Institute for Integrated Transitions (IFIT) in Barcelona and the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IDEA) in Stockholm.
I have also volunteered as a coordinator of the Junior International Organizations Scholars Workshop, the PRIO Master Student/Research Assistant Forum, and the PRIO Conditions of Violence and Peace Brownbag Series.
From 2009-2010, I was a Rotary Youth Exchange Student to Brazil and have been involved in Interact and Rotaract activities for several years.
